The story behind the image
The town of Porto Santo Stefano is centered around its harbour that still is historically a working harbour but also supports yachts. Over time, as more and more houses were built, the owners had to move higher up the hill. And so the town resembles an impressive amphi theatre today.
When you walk up Via Panoramica you won’t be disappointed and will encounter many beautiful views from high above the harbour. Just like this one.
I brought just our Ricoh CX1 just for convenience, and it performed very well, as this image confirms. The image is almost straight out of the camera. Clear, well balanced colors and good sharpness across the entire image.
