The story behind the image
The day of the wedding turned out to be a beautiful autumn day. The sun was shining brightly with just very few clouds high up in the air, nothing serious. After greeting the couple, I explored the surroundings, looking for nice locations to be considered for the formal photo shooting.
A bit down the road from the hotel was the Achensee. I knew I wanted to see the couple in front of this awesome scenery. I took a test shot to see how it might look like, and I kept it as it was beautiful.
The wedding ceremony (held at the local Heimatmuseum) was terrific, and the formal shooting turned out as expected. The couple was more than happy with the shots.
Now I stumbled upon this very nice test shot, and I still like it.
