The story behind the image
One of the main cultural attractions in Glasgow is the Gallery of Modern Art, or short GoMA. It opened its doors in 1998 and shows changing exhibitions of modern (excentric?) artists.
This statue of the Duke of Wellington stands prominently right in front of the GoMA gallery. At first, I thought someone had put up the traffic cone during the night as a prank (from a bachelors party maybe?) – but then I noticed that the cone can also be seen on the photo in our travel guidebook and on many pictures floating on the web. So I think this is just art. Well done, Team GoMA! 🙂
