The story behind the image
On a hot summer day, a friend took us on a cruise on the Kieler Förde in my hometown Kiel in Germany. After all those years in the south of Germany, near the Alps, it felt incredibly good to be back at the Baltic Sea.
When we sailed towards the city center I captured this beautiful picture. The heat had created some huge clouds, but the sun was still shining from the side. The unique landmark of Kiel, the tower of the town hall, is well visible on the left.
A beautiful day. And a nice image.
