The story behind the image
On our way from Liscannor, Co. Clare, to Galyway in Ireland we opted for the N67 which brings you to Lisdoonvarna, Ballyvaughan, Kinvara – and the beautiful Dunguaire Castle which sits right at the shore.
This castle dates back the 16th century and since 1924 has been restored over several decades. Today, it is in perfect condition and definitely worth a visit! If you have some spare time, why not stay and enjoy a medieval banquet with fine wines and delicious, locally sourced food?
