The story behind the image
Here’s a nice panorama shot of the beach in Grömitz, Germany, shortly after sunset. We stepped out of the Gosch restaurant and were greeted by the mild, tasty air of the Baltic Sea. The beach chairs had long been closed, as people preferred walking along the beach and the promenade.
The panorama shot works extremely well here because this format gives an impression how wide the beach actually is. In case you are wondering, the promenade is actually 2.7 kilometers long.
I also like the soft twilight colors that highlight the sky.
