The story behind the image

I’d attribute the label of ‘magic’ to Cape Town in South Africa. Here, you will meet a wide range of cultures with a rich and diverse history, explore stunning landscapes and discover countless opportunities for exciting photos.

This photo is a good example. We were walking along the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront (V&A) which is a working harbour and a shopping/entertainment center at the same time. Here, Cape Town presents itself truly from its best side. The sunset was approaching in the late afternoon, and we gazed at the historical Clock Tower. As expected, the sun turned into a mighty orange and dipped the entire scene into the warmest light you can imagine. One might think, the warm tones have been added later, but the original slide looks exactly like this.

The sunlight in Cape Town – it’s a kind of magic!
