The story behind the image
Yesterday I woke up early, grabbed my camera bag and drove to the former military airfield of Neubiberg. But it has been transformed into a large regional park today. It is situated right around the corner, just a few minutes of biking. The morning fog was still hovering over the meadows of the park, and I took some pre-sunrise shots. When the sun finally peeked above the horizon (over the neighbor village Ottobrunn) and through the fog, it was dipping the scene into the warm red-orange glow we all love so much.
Despite using just the kit lens, I present you this image right from the memory card, without any editing at all. (Well, except for applying my mark and creating a smaller variant for the blog.)
I love it.
