The story behind the image
Yet I remember Tofino as a perfect place for living. A small, peaceful, and friendly community that is far away from the noise of the big city, situated within an awesome landscape (and seascape) that invites for exciting adventures. And all this just an hour or so away from Vancouver that offers all amenities. A dream.
Now I was occupying the co-pilot seat of a DHC-2 Beaver floatplane on a scenic flight from Tofino across Clayoquot Sound and happily snapped photos. The plane was operated by Tofino Air who offer scheduled flights from Tofino to Vancouver downtown and several other destinations, as well as charter tours and scenic flights.
I especially love the blue/green dominance in the image, and the details on the surface of the water that suggest a strong wind that blows from the seaside.
I. Totally. Love. This. Image.
