The story behind the image
Here’s a nice shot from the Christopher Street Day (CSD) parade in Munich, Germany, in 2006. I had wanted to cover the parade without exactly knowing what would happen. It was clear that there would be no violence but still I was uncertain what to expect. And so I just walked with the crowd and shot a number of photos illustrating the generally good mood of the crowd. Then, this lady showed up, and I took a number of portrait photos that turned out quite nicely. Clearly, she knew how to pose. 🙂
Thank you for this image.
