The story behind the image
This morning I shared an image of the Cattedrale dei Santi Pietro e Donato in Arezzo in Italy. Arezzo is a vibrant city, about 70 kilometers south-east of Florence in Italy, and It’s full of history, small streets, and parks. In front of the cathedral stands a statue of Ferdinando I de’ Medici, the former Grand Duke of Tuscany. Apparently, he was a good governor of the province.
For this image I used a different angle to get rid of both the Piazza (which looked a bit lonely to me) and the blue sky (to further reduce the colors.) Again, the bottom right corner looks like a good position for a caption.
I like.
