The story behind the image
The Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore is the key attraction for many tourists. Every day of the year, thousands of visitors come here to enjoy the beauty of the place and inhale its history. It is difficult to not bump into a tourist. And yes, we were tourists, too, and did what had to be done: taking photos, just like this lady that captures the front of the Dome with her smartphone.
I liked her smooth, slightly toned skin, her golden jewellery, her perfectly manicured nails, and the sunglasses in her auburn hair. So I placed her in the lower right corner and captured a photo of a lady capturing the dome with her smartphone.
Lovely.
