The story behind the image
At the age of 34 I had already visited many countries in Europe, but none outside of the continent. One of the first trips to change this was a trip to Agadir in Marocco, a popular and safe tourist destination in Northern Africa.
Agadir has an awesome wide and long beach, and before sunset we used to walk along the beach promenade to enjoy the salty, fresh air, the relaxed atmosphere, and the change from hot day to mild evening. One evening I took the camera and captured the approaching sunset over the beach. The hill, by the way, carries a giant and very impressive inscription in Arabic language that says “God, Country, King”.
Agadir – a nice, relaxing dream, especially during the European winter. 😉
