The story behind the image
When you visit Vancouver, B.C., you will definitely want to explore Stanley Park. It’s close to the city center and offers plenty of space for recreation and relaxation. As a bonus, you get the chance to get insights on the culture of the First Nations. At its eastern tip a whole set of totem poles can be admired.
Back in 2002, we were lucky to see the paint being refreshed. This not only helps preventing detoriation of the stunning sculptures but also makes their color really stand out in the sea of green and blue.
Very nice.
