The story behind the image
Yes, I found yet another photo of Moraine Lake in the morning. But truth is, the beauty of Moraine Lake and the Banff National Parl has deeply touched me. Back then – and today.
After an early breakfast we drove up to the lake to be ahead of the crowds and catch the lake undisturbed from canoers and tourists. (Yes, we were tourists as well, but we appreciate being alone in the wild.)
This image focuses very much on the majestic Ten Peaks and less on the lake. What a great place to be!
