The story behind the image
We were up early to drive 45 minutes from Jasper to Maligne Lake, one of the many must-sees in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The sky was clear, and there were still relatively few tourists round. After a short walk from the parking lot we were stunned by the breathtaking beauty of the lake with Mount Charlton and the Queen Elizabeth Ranges as backdrop.
I shot this image probably from the boathouse, and seeing it makes me want to return to the Canadian Rockies. Now. 🙂
