The story behind the image
We had arrived earlier that day on Vancouver Island, with the ferry from Tsawwassen. We were excited to be on this island that came close to our dreams, in 2002. The air was mild and had that specific maritime smell. The sun was shining. We had a lot of time to spend on our (short) drive from the Swartz Bay ferry terminal to our B&B for the next two nights, in Victoria.
And so we took our time to drive slowly along the coastline, stopping frequently to enjoy the views of the sea, step out and take photos.
This photo shows the greens of the Victoria Golf Club from Beach Drive. I’d call this a golf course with a truly stunning view. Situated next to the water of the Mayor Channel and looking at the Trial Islands. Its proximity to Victoria makes it the perfect destination for golfers from the area. I really like is dominance of blue and green colors.
Lovely.
