The story behind the image
Florence for sure is one of the most photographed cities in the world. Its heritage and outright beauty makes it a preferred destination for tourists and photographers from around the world, and every single day, hundreds of thousands of photos must be shot in the city, often showing the same locations – Ponte Vecchio, David Statue, Uffizii, Duomo, and many more. But who could possibly criticize those photographers? (Not me, for sure, because I am one of these folks.) But the consequence of all this photo shooting is the challenge to shoot unique or unusual images.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you get lucky and shoot – rather by accident – an unusual scene. While reviewing my photos from Florence I noticed a couple standing in the middle of the bridge. A man and a woman. And they look as happy as lovers look when they arrived in a beautiful place or maybe even the place of their dreams!
Of course, we can only guess what they were talking about, but looking at her face, I guess it must be one of the happiest days in her life. 🙂

Lovely.
