The story behind the image
Driving along the the SR213 from Sperlonga to Gaeta is probably one of the most beautiful experiences you might have. Imagine a winded road that requires a well balanced car (and, ideally, a convertible), lots of short tunnels and countless magnificent views between the tunnels, high above the Mediterranean Sea.
This photo shows the view from the parking lot near the Grotta delle Bambole that requires a quick decision to brake and exit the highway as it sits between two tunnels. But once you’ve made it, you can not only take a well-earned rest but also enjoy this awesome view.
Lovely, isn’t it?
