The story behind the image
The northern tip of the Isle of Skye is a must-see for anyone visiting this part of Scotland. A drive along the A885 will provide you with countless stunning views that show the rough beauty of the island.
Just like this image of Kilmaluag Bay that I shot near Kilmaluag with a tele lens. I adore the wild sea where a sailing yacht sprints along, thanks to a strong wind.
Looking at recent images from this spot I see no vast differences. Some of the ruins have broken down further, and some of the buildings seem to have been removed. But all-in-all, this spot if as beautiful today as it was in 2005 for us.
