The story behind the image
During our 2022 trip to Bellaria-Igea Marina in Italy we visited Cesenatico, a town in the neighborhood.
Cesenatico’s key feature (and must-see!) is its historic harbor with countless ships that have been beautifully restored and are now exhibited in the town center. Left and right of the channel – Fosso Veneralla – you will find restaurants and bars. A bit further to the seaside you will see the working harbor.
On the photo you can see the clouds that still hung over Cesenatico. But we thought that this was actually good for us, because a walk along the channel in the hot sun is also quite demanding.
If you are in the area, please consider Cesenatico for a side-trip or stopover. You won’t regret it.
