The story behind the image
Lake Garda in Northern Italy is one of our favorite holiday destinations, because it is just a four-hour drive away from Munich in Germany but gets you into a totally different mood. It almost does not matter where you stay, exactly, around the lake. You will experience relaxed holidays with a lot of Italian lifestyle, good food, and exciting trips along and across the lake.
Here’s a nice postcard shot of the tiny historic harbour in Lazise at the east coast of the lake. This image is from our 2013 trip to Italy. Looking at recent images, I see that the area has not changed that much. It is still uber-beautiful. Both thumbs up!
