The story behind the image
On my trip to Mexico City the company had booked a room at the very nice Sheraton Maria Isabel. I brought my trusted Canon AE-1 Program with several slide films.
The hotel was located right next to the monument El Ángel de la Independencia. Using the 70-210 mm FD tele zoom, it was easy to capture a beautiful shot of the monument from behind.
