The story behind the image
The Olympic Park in Munich dates back to the 1972 Olympic Games. Unlike so many other Olympic Parks around the world, the one in Munich is still being actively used for events and sport competitions, but it is open to the public as well and invites for long walks in the city.
On this beautiful Saturday we visited the Tollwood Festival where many producers and retailers exhibit and sell organic and creative products. You can also enjoy different foods from around the world.
On our way to the event area, we passed the Olympic Stadium, and I could not resist to capture this beautiful image. How much better can it get? A clear, blue sky and the well-balanced roof of the stadium with the TV tower as backdrop. Very nice.
