The story behind the image
The south-east of Sardinia in Italy is the perfect spot for relaxing holidays. It’s not as busy as the coasts of the Italian mainland, and you’ll get beautiful remote beaches with awesome water. Sailors will be able to enjoy anchoring a bit off the beach like on this photo of the Spiaggia di Porto Sa Ruxi.
I love the colors and mood of the image, and especially during the dark winter period it’s a welcome reminder of the joys of summer.
Note: In July 2025 I realized I made a mistake. This photo shows the Spiaggia Porto sa Ruxi (not Spiaggia di Porceddus). I corrected this mistake. – Ed.
