The story behind the image

This wedding was pure fun because the bride and the groom were wonderful, relaxed folks. This mood comes across in the pictures very well.

For example, during the dress-up session with the bride, she held up her dress because her bridesmaid had to fasten something to the underskirt of the dress. I asked her to hold it for a moment and did this unusual shot. I love it because it focuses on the bride and does not show any of her underskirts at all. The dress and her seem to be one. At first she was puzzled, but when she saw the image she liked it right away.
