San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge

Highway Number 1 Sign

The Highway Number One is situated directly at the coast and goes straight down to Los Angeles. You should take your time as you will see many gorgeous views.

San Francisco Ocean Beach

Many beaches, like this in San Francisco, invite for surfing. Usually, they can be accessed easily from the Highway.

Pigeon Point Lighthouse

Pigeon Point Lighthouse, built in 1872, is one of the tallest lighthouses (115 ft) on the West Coast. While still being intact, it serves as youth hostel today.

Santa Cruz Bird Rock

This beach is located in Santa Cruz, a beautiful town between San Francisco and Monterey.

Pacific Grove

Pacific Grove, our first stop of the trip, gives you a first impression of the rugged coastline that is called "Big Sur". We recommend to use the Ocean View Blvd to enjoy the full beauty of the place.
